EI.WHS is a leading independent Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation Building Services and Industrial Contractor with an annual turnover in excess of £100 million. We provide premier mechanical, electrical and instrumentation engineering services for public and private sector clients in commercial and industrial markets. Our activities include Project Management, Design, Procurement, Supply, Installation, Testing, Hazardous Area Inspections, Commissioning and Maintenance.
EI.WHS has over 700 directly employed staff and tradesmen who work from our offices in Blackburn, Cambridge, Coventry, Derby, Gateshead, Ipswich, London, Manchester, Scunthorpe, Sheffield and Thornaby. Our people, the majority of whom are long serving, take great pride in the quality of our work and this underpins everything that we do.
Our Company is controlled by a Management Board with each and every project assigned to a Contracts Director who has responsibility for your project from inception to completion. The level of repeat business we enjoy is testimony to our non-adversarial approach to our dealings with customers.
Our history goes back to 1906 when Electrical Installations was founded. Electrical Installations merged with WH Smith Ltd to become EI.WHS. Our company has a fine heritage of which we are justifiably proud. We believe that our tradition for quality workmanship, combined with our commitment to innovation and continuous improvement, gives us a sound platform for future progress.
