19-01-09 - Mersey Kingsway Evacuation System & Toll Signage

EI.WHS are pleased to announce that we will be working with Mersey Travel on two imminent projects in 2009.

Following the successful completion of the Mersey Queensway Tunnel Evacuation System in 2006, EI.WHS are to complete a similar Evacuation System utilising advanced LED and White Noise technology in the Mersey Kingsway tunnel, providing the full EI.WHS SafeTechnology Complete Emergency Exit Package at the exit points within the tunnel.

Also, following the successful installation of a trial Variable Message Sign controlling one lane of the Kingsway Toll Plaza in 2008, EI.WHS will be installing an additional 34 Rotating Plank type VMS signs plus additional fixed plate signs to control the lanes at both the Kingsway and Queensway Toll Plaza.
