EI-WHS were contracted to the installation and commissioning of the mechanical and electrical services to a “Live, trading store”.
• A refurbished store completed in 2 phases whilst the store kept trading.
• A new electrical distribution system installed with new LV switchboards and an upgrade of the high voltage substation.
• Installation of new fire, security, voice & data and BMS management systems.
• New HVAC system incorporating gas fired water heaters, air handling unit and cold smoke extracts system.
• New UCAS under case heating to customer refrigeration sales counters.
• DX comfort cooling installed to the new cafe revive, fitting rooms & back of house offices.
• New customer toilets with baby changing facilities installed.
• New customer lift & escalators installed to allow easier transition and access to the new sales floors.
• Automatic doors were installed to entry / exit doors with overdoor heaters to maintain a comfortable temperature to the store.
• Contract completed inside 10 months with a new entrance into the Grande Arcade shopping centre next door.
