Felixstowe Phase 1
SPIE WHS were involved in the upgrade and extension of one of the UK’s largest container ports at Felixstowe. SPIE WHS worked on the design, supply & installation of lighting. This was a unique challenge due to the proximity of a nature reserve, meaning the light level calculations were critical to prevent light levels from disrupting the nearby reserve. The project also involved 11kv/415v distribution, 11kv dockside crane sockets, substation services, floodlighting & refrigerated container supplies.
