Leckwith Stadium Signage & CCTV
EI.WHS Tunnel and Transportation Services have completed a £2.2m project for the installation of 24 Rotating Plank Signs, 28 Matrix Lane Cotnrol Signs, and 4 Variable Message Signs for the new approach road and intersection roundabout system to support the new Cardiff City Football and Athletics Stadium. The project also included the addition of 6 cameras and modification of 2 cameras to improve and extend the existing CCTV system.
This project involved the installation of a fully networked control system for the new signage to integrate with the existing SCADA system, along with the corresponding distribution cabinets and feeder pillars, as well as the relevant ducting, power, data, and fibre cabling.
The project was commissioned by Cardiff City Council in conjunction with Laing O’Rourke, and was completed well within the required timescales, specifications, and budget.
