Felixtowe Docks Phase 2 extension
Following the successful completion of the Trinity III extension at the Port of Felixstowe, EIWHS Ltd Thornaby office have been awarded the contract by Costain for the design procurement, installation and testing of the electrical services for the Port of Felixstowe Languard Redevelopment Phase 1. The project comprises the demolition of existing buildings and structures and the extension of the quayside into the River Orwell estuary to increase the Port of Felixstowe capacity. The services to be carried out include the upgrading of the existing 11kv network, the establishment of a new 11kv distribution network including substations, 11kv crane supplies, refrigerated container gantries, flood lighting, data and controls cabling. The project design and procurement has commenced with the project completion date of April 2010.
